On-site chair massage is an upcoming long needed practice that is no longer just available at spas and medical offices. Chair massages are showing up at many types of off site locations such as offices, corporate events and even trade shows and the benefits are paying back ten-fold.
Chair massage therapy is a great way to reduce tension that can develop in workplace situations. The benefits achieved for the employees makes for a more productive work site, which in turn benefits the employer. Higher productivity means larger profits for the corporation.
Chair massage therapy can benefit an organization and its employees in many ways including physically, mentally, and financially.
So just what is chair massage? Chair massage focuses on the upper body areas that often cause problems for people who sit at a desk or use a computer keyboard. Chair massage can help prevent or relieve carpal tunnel syndrome, tension headaches, neck pain, and back problems. This massage technique is performed in your normal work attire and requires no oils. Instead of using a table, the massage takes place in a specially designed portable massage chair provided by the massage therapist. Leaning forward in the chair allows you to relax completely with your head resting in a comfortable face cradle lined with a soft, disposable cloth cover. The therapist(s) will bring everything that they need, including massage equipment, supplies and music. All you need to provide is some quiet space and eager participants. Chair massage typically takes about 15, 20, or 30 minutes, no longer than a coffee break, but is far more effective!

Endermologie is a non-invasive technique for reducing the appearance of cellulite. Cellulite often shows up as dimpling on the skin, sometimes called the cottage cheese look, even in those who are fit. The look of cellulite does not necessary diminish with weight loss and liposuction fails to address this top layer of fat under the skin.
French plastic surgeons developed the techniques used in endermologie. The process is now patented in the US as well. Endermologie uses rollers that often feel like deep tissue massage, over problem areas of the skin. At the same time, suction is used to redistribute the skin and remove dimpling. Those opting for endermologie usually need about 14 to 28 sessions of about 35 to 45 minutes each to see results and must also have monthly treatments afterwards to maintain the smooth skin look.
